Weathermate^™ Straight Flashing is a self-adhering flexible flashing used as part of a water-resistive barrier system on typical building substrates like wood, insulating sheathing, housewrap, and concrete.

Weathermate^™ Straight Flashing combines a blue high-density polyethylene (HDPE) film facer with a butyl rubber adhesive that forms a strong mechanical and chemical bond to most building materials, with a polymeric-coated paper release liner that helps provide a more consistent peel than plain paper liners. Weathermate^™ Straight Flashing prevents water from entering the wall at windows, doors and other penetrations and creates a seal between the foundation and framing.
